Strategy’s third-quarter 2026 earnings call included an analyst question-and-answer session focused on the company’s capital strategy and its approach to Bitcoin-related financial products. Executive chairman Michael Saylor and CEO Phong Le responded to questions from analysts at BTIG, Treasury, Galaxy and Citi, as well as Scott Melker.

The discussion examined Strategy’s balance sheet compared with the previous bull market and the amount of capital required to create significant credit. Analysts also asked when the company could resume using its equity at-the-market program.

A substantial portion of the session focused on Strategy’s preferred securities. The executives discussed why Stretch, or STRC, took four months to return to par and addressed the outlook for STRD, STRK and STRE. The euro-listed STRE was described as presenting particular challenges.

The call also explored whether Strategy is contributing to the financialization of Bitcoin and how institutions may be damping the cryptocurrency’s volatility. Saylor and Le discussed historical comparisons involving figures such as Thomas Edison and John D. Rockefeller in the context of financialized Bitcoin.

Tokenization was another central topic. The participants considered whether Strategy might issue tokenized MSTR shares for U.S. investors and discussed the possibility of tokenization supporting a free market. The absence of a U.S. token standard was identified as a key issue in the discussion.
