BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded its largest daily outflow since June on Monday, as US-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs began November with $398.6 million in net withdrawals, according to Farside Investors data.
IBIT accounted for $405.3 million in outflows. The last time its daily withdrawals were higher was June 26, when investors pulled $444.5 million. Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) saw $6.7 million in inflows, partially offsetting the total.
The latest withdrawals followed $515 million in net outflows from US spot Bitcoin ETFs in October. So far in 2026, the funds have recorded around $38 million in net outflows.
Edwin Mata, CEO of tokenization company Brickken, said the outflows should not be viewed as a rejection of digital assets. In commentary published Monday, he said investors tend to reduce exposure when uncertainty increases, particularly after events that raise questions about market infrastructure security.
The withdrawals coincided with volatility across crypto markets following the $6.3 billion Binance hack. Bitcoin briefly fell below $76,400 on Monday, its lowest level since August, according to CoinGecko. At the time of publication, it was trading at around $76,600, down 3.7% over the previous seven days.
US spot Ether ETFs also saw about $140 million in net outflows on Monday, extending their outflow streak to six trading days. The funds recorded a monthly outflow of $1.61 billion in October, according to SoSoValue data.
